If you are currently enrolled as a student at APU, once a course has started you will be able to download up to 5 copies of Microsoft Office for free! If you are a current student and there is a break or you are not currently taking a class, you will no longer have access to the desktop version of Microsoft Office 365. However, you will still have access to the online version. To access the online version, please go to office365.apu.edu and use your APU NetID and password to log in.

To download your own offline copy of Microsoft Office 365, please follow the following steps:

• Open your browser to office365.apu.edu
• Enter your APU NetID and Password when you see the CAS login page.
  

• Launch Office 365 applications from the portal page

  

• Click on the "Install Office apps" button near the top right side of the screen.
  
• Select the download that's appropriate for you.
  

If you previously had an older version of Office365 installed with a different license on macOS, you may need to use Microsoft's tool to fully remove the old license before you can properly sign in with your APUNetID. Click here for Microsoft's support article about their license removal tool.
